Hotel Manager – Fiji Resort

About the role

As the Hotel Manager at a leading resort in Fiji, you will act as the second‑in‑command to the General Manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring every guest experience is memorable. This Pacific Island‑based role combines strategic focus on guest satisfaction, revenue generation and commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Security to deliver operational excellence.
• Work closely with Heads of Department to maximise guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist the General Manager with capital projects, refurbishment initiatives, brand compliance and audit responses.
• Monitor financial performance, interpret P&L statements, analyse KPIs and implement strategies to improve profitability and productivity.
• Ensure the property meets high standards of presentation, safety and brand compliance.
• Foster a culture of service excellence through hands‑on leadership, coaching and mentoring of staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior hotel management, preferably in a resort setting.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative attitude and commitment to an inclusive workplace.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making skills, able to act swiftly under pressure.
