Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Marriott International in Nadi, Fiji. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests, delivering supplies and amenities.
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures, replace amenities, clean bathrooms, and change linens.
• Make beds, fold terry, dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care in rooms and hallways.
• Inspect rooms for functional appliances and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain uniform standards and adhere to safety, security, and company policies.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning procedures.
