HR Manager – Hub/Nauru

About the role

We are seeking a motivated HR Manager for our Hub in Nauru, based in Suva, Fiji. Reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, you will help drive the HR agenda across the market and support employee needs in a fast‑paced telecommunications environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HRIS data, including starters, leavers, transfers and contract details.
• Produce monthly HR reports covering activities, movements and challenges.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring all pre‑employment requirements and leaver procedures are completed.
• Manage immigration and expatriate work‑permit processes.
• Support recruitment activities, source candidates and maintain communication throughout the hiring cycle.
• Submit payroll advice fortnightly and handle employee administrative requests such as bank letters.
• Partner with the HR Business Partner to administer training grants and liaise with Learning & Development.
• Liaise with internal departments, external vendors and government agencies on HR‑related matters.

Required profile

• Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and support senior HR leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Experience in HR administration within a telecommunications or similar fast‑moving environment.
