Human Resources Executive (Island Based)

About the role

The Human Resources Executive will support daily HR operations at a resort on Tokoriki Island. Working on‑site, you will ensure HR processes are delivered accurately, confidentially, and in line with company policies and Marriott brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee personnel files, HR records, and filing systems in compliance with legal requirements.
• Process employee transfers, status changes, and generate HR reports for management.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interviews, background checks, reference checks, and drug screening.
• Support managers throughout the selection process and ensure compliance with Marriott policies.
• Facilitate onboarding activities and assist with learning and development initiatives.
• Provide HR correspondence, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
• Uphold confidentiality of all employee information at all times.

Required profile

• Willingness to reside on the resort island during scheduled work periods.
• Ability to work rostered shifts and flexible schedules in a remote hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work independently while collaborating with on‑island and cluster teams.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional associate experiences.
