Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the daily operations of the HR function for a hospitality property in Denarau Island North, Nadi. This role partners with department leaders to deliver HR services that support business goals, boost employee engagement, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Develop and coordinate employee training, orientation, and development programs.
• Foster a positive employee relations environment, handling grievances and promoting engagement.
• Administer benefits, performance management, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with external partners, recruitment vendors, and community institutions to build talent pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR functions in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Fiji labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to partner with department heads and influence people‑related decisions.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
