IP Manager – Technical Operations Lead

About the role

Digicel Pacific is seeking a highly motivated IP Manager to join the Technical Operations Team at the Digicel Khalsa Office. Reporting to the Regional CTO, you will provide technical leadership for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the company’s IP, network, and cybersecurity infrastructure across its Pacific hub markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Digicel’s IP core, edge, and security infrastructure across hub markets.
• Ensure compliance with Digicel’s IP engineering and cybersecurity standards.
• Oversee performance, reliability and scalability of Internet, voice and data services.
• Provide Level‑3 operational support and advanced troubleshooting for complex network and security incidents.
• Plan, design and deploy new network services, infrastructure upgrades and technology refreshes.
• Architect resilient, scalable network solutions aligned with regional growth.
• Implement security controls, including DDoS mitigation, traffic filtering, access control and network segmentation.
• Lead capacity planning, performance optimisation and lifecycle management of the IP infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, configuration baselines and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners on new solutions.
• Manage change processes and coordinate major incident resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IP network design, implementation and operation.
• Strong background in network security and cybersecurity best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a multi‑market telecommunications environment.
