Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the creation and delivery of training initiatives that support a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional guest service within a hotel environment. Reporting to senior leadership, the role partners with department heads to close skill gaps and ensure associates have the knowledge and tools to exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate employee training programs aligned with the hotel’s service philosophy.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance and learning transfer to measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to assess performance gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Develop annual training plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Incorporate adult‑learning principles and brand values into all training content.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff and managers on service behaviors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development, preferably within hospitality or a service‑focused organization.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate training impact using guest satisfaction data and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and align training initiatives with strategic goals.
