Manager Sales, Business Development & SME Relationships

About the role

As the Manager of Sales, Business Development & SME Relationships you will lead Tower Fiji’s sales growth strategy, driving performance across direct sales and partnership channels. Reporting to the Fiji Country Manager, you will build a robust pipeline of commercial and SME opportunities while coaching a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Tower Fiji’s sales growth strategy, owning revenue, new‑business, retention and pipeline targets.
• Develop and nurture a strong pipeline of commercial and SME opportunities and expand key partnerships.
• Coach, mentor and develop a unified sales team focused on accountability, engagement and results.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align sales initiatives with overall market growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted insurance advisor, providing commercial expertise across the business.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims and service teams to improve customer experience and operational performance.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably in commercial and SME markets.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue and pipeline targets.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Deep knowledge of insurance practices and the local Fiji market.
• Commercially sharp with the ability to use data and financial analysis to drive decisions.
• Relevant industry qualification preferred.
