Painter – Property Maintenance & Surface Finishing

About the role

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the property by applying paint, finishes, and protective coatings to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Engineering team and contributes to guest satisfaction through high‑quality surface work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, stripping, and applying primers or sealers.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while adhering to brand colour standards.
• Mix and modify paints and stains to achieve required colours and consistency.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and signage during work.
• Maintain, clean, and store painting tools and equipment after use.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialised paint requirements and colour matching.
• Assist the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and handle chemicals according to hazardous‑material guidelines.
• Interact professionally with guests to minimise disruption.

Required skills

• Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation.

• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals.
