Plumber – Part‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Part‑Time Plumber to join our facilities team in Nadi, Fiji. You will be responsible for addressing minor plumbing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with local codes and Marriott standards.

Key responsibilities

• Unclog drains and fix minor plumbing problems.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings; cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Conduct leak detection by filling pipes or fixtures with water or air.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of related plumbing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Plumber Certification.
• Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License.
