Project Technical Assistant

About the role

The Project Technical Assistant will provide essential technical support for the Building Services Upgrade Project, working closely with the Project Officer and the Manager of Plant and Properties. This role ensures that all project activities comply with building codes, international standards, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Officer with daily planning and coordination of the Building Services Upgrade Project.
• Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant execution of works.
• Monitor adherence to building codes, environmental laws, and relevant international standards.
• Prepare and submit written reports on non‑compliant activities, disputes, and project updates.
• Support documentation and record‑keeping for project deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in building services projects, construction, installation, or facilities engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in project management.
• In‑depth knowledge of local and international building codes for commercial high‑rise buildings.
• Excellent report‑writing skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to create presentations using Prezi.
