Receiving Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Receiving Guest Service Agent supports Marriott’s food service operations by managing inventory, processing deliveries, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. This full‑time, onsite position is based on Denarau Island South, Nadi, Fiji, and plays a key part in maintaining food safety and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs.
• Maintain clear, organized records for reports and invoices.
• Post invoices using computer programs and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
• Conduct inventory audits, track stock levels, and complete requisition forms.
• Notify supervisors of low stock and monitor PAR levels for all food items.
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return processes.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies across all food‑related areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, answer phones courteously, and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for posting invoices and using point‑of‑sale systems.
