Receiving Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Receiving Guest Service Agent ensures accurate handling of food inventories and deliveries within a hospitality environment. You will work closely with the kitchen, procurement, and front‑of‑house teams to maintain stock levels, process invoices, and uphold food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders and costs, and maintain organized records.
• Post invoices using computer programs and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
• Conduct inventory audits, complete requisition forms, and notify supervisors of low stock.
• Receive, unload, inspect and process deliveries, refusing damaged or incorrect items.
• Track received inventory, generate reports and logs, and monitor PAR levels for all food items.
• Adhere to food safety policies, report accidents, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and follow company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working in narrow, elevated or uneven spaces and navigating slippery surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail for visual verification of information, tools and equipment.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to teamwork, quality‑assurance standards and safety procedures.
