Recreation Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Attendant creates a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests by coordinating and supporting a variety of leisure activities. This part‑time position is based on site at our resort in Nadi, Fiji, and is open to Fiji citizens only.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage, register and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Provide information about facilities, promote rules for safety, and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Maintain and clean equipment, report accidents, and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and handle phone inquiries with professional etiquette.
• Process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees, and facility bookings using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance, and navigate varied surfaces.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Computer literacy for data entry.
• Cash handling and basic math.
