Regional Programs Manager

About the role

The Regional Programs Manager will support the Director of Programs in overseeing the Country Programs portfolio for Pacific Australia Skills. Based in Suva, this full‑time position focuses on ensuring effective implementation, operational performance, and strategic alignment across Pacific and Timor‑Leste programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities and technical oversight of country and regional programmes.
• Monitor portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and implementation quality.
• Contribute to the development and execution of Pacific Australia Skills policies, strategies, and the Regional Plan.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction, and capacity‑building activities for service providers and provisional members.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring politically informed and locally led programming.
• Identify synergies across operational, strategic, and implementation levels to achieve programme outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven managerial experience with lived experience in the Pacific and/or Timor‑Leste.
• Deep understanding of the region’s political, social, and development context.
• Strong collaborative and influencing abilities, capable of building diverse stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to translate strategy into concrete actions and deliver results.
