Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Join Sheraton’s hospitality team on Denarau Island South as a Restaurant Supervisor. You will lead a team of front‑of‑house staff to deliver exceptional service, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing duties, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall presentation, correcting any deficiencies.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, guest safety, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, conduct scheduled stock counts, and requisition supplies using FIFO principles.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and ensure timely repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and quality policies; report incidents and complete required safety certifications.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lb.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
