Sales Manager – Hospitality & Tourism

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive new business growth for Marriott International on Denarau Island South, Nadi. You will generate revenue, expand market presence, and build lasting client relationships through proactive sales initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities to exceed sales targets.
• Conduct strategic sales calls, client presentations, and business development meetings.
• Transfer confirmed business to Event Management or Operations teams for flawless service delivery.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with target markets and business objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering repeat business.
• Collaborate with on‑property and off‑property sales channels to optimise revenue generation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
• Support the company’s service and customer‑loyalty strategy across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or related industries.
• Degree in Management, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting market data and shaping sales strategies.
• Flexibility to work varied hours to meet client and business needs.
• Valid working rights in Fiji.
