Senior Civil Engineer – Airport Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a driven Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Nadi, Fiji. You will lead the delivery of complex airport and aviation‑related civil infrastructure projects across Fiji and the wider Pacific region, providing technical leadership and client‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and construction oversight of airport and aviation civil infrastructure (airside and landside).
• Manage project execution to meet quality, schedule, safety and budget targets.
• Conduct engineering inspections, interpret drawings and specifications, and recommend remedial works in operational airport environments.
• Coordinate contract administration, subcontractor liaison and stakeholder engagement, working under NZS 3910 or FIDIC style contracts.
• Collaborate with airport authorities, regulators, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor project teams, promote innovation and share knowledge.
• Collect, analyse and interpret technical data to support engineering and commercial decisions.
• Maintain current knowledge of engineering standards, aviation requirements and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of professional engineering experience, preferably with CPEng or equivalent certification.
• Proven design and delivery experience on civil, transport or aviation infrastructure projects.
• Experience acting as Engineer’s Representative or in contract administration under NZS 3910/FIDIC.
• Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative, multidisciplinary work style.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
