About the role
As a Senior Talent & Culture Business Partner at ANZ, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping to translate business priorities into people‑focused outcomes. You will work from ANZ House in Suva, partnering with leaders to shape capability, culture and performance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to design and implement people strategies that drive business performance and organisational effectiveness.
- Coach, influence and challenge leaders on workforce planning, leadership development, culture, talent and succession priorities.
- Lead strategic initiatives in organisational design, talent management, engagement and transformation.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, the Talent & Culture community and external bodies to support business outcomes.
- Represent Talent & Culture in business forums, projects and governance discussions, ensuring people considerations are embedded in decision‑making.
- Analyse workforce data and market trends to identify opportunities and recommend strategic solutions.
- Collaborate with specialist Talent & Culture teams to deliver initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
- Champion ANZ’s culture, values and inclusion agenda while developing high‑performing teams.
- Support leaders in stakeholder engagement with unions, regulators and government agencies, in partnership with subject‑matter experts.
Required profile
- Extensive experience as a strategic HR Business Partner or similar people‑leadership role, partnering with senior leaders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to organisational priorities and commercial objectives.
- Exceptional relationship‑building, influencing and coaching capabilities.
- Proven track record of leading workforce planning, talent development and organisational change initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external stakeholders.
