TVET Coordinator – Fiji

About the role

The Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) Department is seeking a dedicated Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Coordinator to lead adult night‑class TVET programs in Fiji and Kiribati. This permanent full‑time position reports to the Area TVET Manager and supports the Church’s educational standards and local requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate TVET programs, working closely with school leaders, contractors, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local educational regulations, accreditation standards, and Church policies.
• Assist in reviewing TVET budgets, managing facilities, equipment, and learning resources.
• Provide regular reporting on program progress and support professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of experience in business, trades, administration, or budgeting, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong interpersonal communication, analytical, coordination, and report‑writing abilities.
• Proof of legal right to work in Fiji and willingness to undergo a police background check.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
