Youth Substitute Teacher – Church College Fiji

About the role

This temporary position supports youth at Church College Fiji by delivering lessons prepared by an absent full‑time teacher. It is an entry‑level role focused on helping students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and prepare for temple blessings.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with a program administrator to facilitate gospel‑based lessons.
• Effectively deliver lessons prepared by the full‑time teacher.
• Assist students in actively participating in the learning process.
• Teach in the Savior’s Way, emphasizing love, the Spirit, doctrine, and diligent learning.
• Participate in training opportunities as directed by administration.
• Be available on short notice to fulfill substitute duties as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (tertiary education preferred).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Works well with youth and demonstrates integrity.
• Adherence to Church policies, SAI policies, and Temple standards.
• Current police clearance/report.
• Legal right to work in Kiribati.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
