Bar Staff (GSA) – Part‑Time

About the role

The Bar GSA position at our JW Marriott property in Nadi involves opening and closing the bar, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This part‑time role requires you to follow company standards, safety procedures, and deliver excellent service throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Stock ice, glassware, paper supplies and maintain work areas throughout the shift.
• Remove soiled wares, keep the bar, tables and tools clean, and adhere to set‑up guidelines.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank them sincerely.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets and confidential information.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• 2–3 years experience in a bar, restaurant or food‑and‑beverage service role.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and work on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
