Farm Hand Attendant

About the role

The Farm Hand Attendant supports the appearance and safety of Marriott’s property grounds in Nadi, Fiji. Working part‑time, you will maintain lawns, flower beds, fountains and pathways to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and raking leaves.
• Clean, refuel and store all equipment after each use.
• Water, weed and trim flower beds, baskets and boxes.
• Remove trash from exterior bins and keep fountains and planters clean.
• Repair sidewalks, driveways, cart paths and parking lots by filling cracks and holes.
• Operate tractors, trucks or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.
• Follow company safety policies and report any hazards or equipment issues.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship (application open for Fiji citizens only).
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum one year of related grounds‑maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

• Operation of tractors, trucks and utility vehicles.
• Lawn mowing, edging and leaf removal.
• Equipment cleaning, refueling and routine maintenance.
• Flower‑bed watering, weeding and trimming.
• Trash collection and disposal.
• Fountain, planter and feature cleaning.
• Basic repair of sidewalks, driveways and parking surfaces.
