Kitchen Commis – Part‑time

About the role

This part‑time Commis position supports the kitchen team at a Marriott property in Nadi, Fiji. You will prepare ingredients, cook according to recipes, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, chop, wash, peel, and store fresh produce.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers while monitoring food quality and temperature.
• Cook food to recipe, quality, and presentation standards, including cold food preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and clean kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship (application open for Fiji citizens only).
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑service experience.

Required skills
