Landscape Grounds Service Assistant – Part Time

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Landscape Grounds Service Assistant to maintain the appearance of our property in Nadi, Fiji. The role involves caring for lawns, flower beds, fountains and other outdoor features, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the overall appearance of the property grounds.
• Clean, repair and upkeep fountains, planters and other landscape features.
• Plant and replace flowers, bulbs, grass, trees and shrubs.
• Water, weed, trim and maintain flower beds, baskets and boxes.
• Trim, prune and edge grass, lawns and hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems.
• Collect and bag trash from exterior bins.
• Operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies and debris.
• Clean, refuel and perform routine maintenance on all equipment after use.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related landscaping or grounds‑maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operation of dump trucks, tractors and other utility vehicles.
• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for extended periods and work on uneven surfaces.
