Quality Control, Production & Compliance Officer

About the role

The Quality Control, Production & Compliance Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Fiji. You will ensure that MESOVU’s handcrafted goat‑milk skincare products meet the highest quality, safety and sustainability standards at every stage of production.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain product quality across raw‑material inspection, formulation and final‑product checks.
• Prepare and keep up‑to‑date quality and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local cosmetic regulations, hygiene, safety and labeling requirements.
• Oversee production workflows, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and conduct routine audits.
• Identify corrective actions, promote safe working practices and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement and sustainable, ethical production aligned with brand values.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance and control for skincare or cosmetic products, including inspection, testing and documentation.
• Production and operations expertise such as workflow oversight, process optimisation and team coordination.
• Knowledge of local cosmetic regulations, hygiene, safety and labeling standards.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail in record‑keeping.
• Basic understanding of chemistry or cosmetics manufacturing; degree or diploma in a related field preferred.
