About the role

The Assistant Manager – Outlet ensures smooth daily operations at our Denarau Island venue, coordinating team activities, maintaining high service standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, monitor service delivery, and support staff performance in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team members to provide efficient, high‑quality food and beverage service.
• Execute opening and closing duties, including supply setup, equipment checks, and workspace security.
• Maintain cleanliness using clean‑as‑you‑go practices and monitor dining areas for safety and guest well‑being.
• Greet guests, anticipate needs, address concerns promptly, and ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, incidents, or unsafe conditions to management and loss prevention.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance coaching of staff.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, grooming standards, and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate operational updates clearly and foster a collaborative team environment.
