Director of People, Culture & Performance

About the role

Habibi Hospitality Group is seeking a commercially‑minded Director of People, Culture & Performance to join its senior leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the people strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and embed a high‑performance culture across the Group’s restaurants, training academy, and food services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement frameworks that enable leaders to set clear expectations, conduct effective performance conversations, and drive accountability.
• Build leadership capability at every level through coaching, development programs, and succession planning.
• Embed a positive, professional culture that recognises strong performance and addresses under‑performance consistently.
• Translate business priorities into workforce initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention, and career development.
• Oversee HR operations, employee relations, governance, and compliance while leading the People & Culture team.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in People & Culture, Human Resources, or organisational development.
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior leaders and challenge performance standards.
• Comfortable operating from boardroom strategy to restaurant‑floor execution.
• Proven track record of building accountable, high‑performing teams in a hospitality or service‑focused environment.
