Full-time General Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our compassionate team at OM’s Medical Centre in Suva. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will provide comprehensive primary‑care services to patients of all ages, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultations, diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and order, interpret diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients on preventive health and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide occasional after‑hours coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a valid license to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Strong clinical foundation in primary care and family medicine.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice.
• Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity and patient‑education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
