Insurance Broker

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Insurance Broker to join its Lautoka team. This client‑facing position will help you deepen your insurance knowledge, support senior account staff, and grow your own book of business while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Account Executives and Senior Account Executives with all aspects of client service, including administration, technical support and business development.
• Provide effective administrative assistance to maintain high client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with insurers as required.
• Follow the company’s quality practices, systems, procedures and Errors & Omissions policy.
• Produce and process invoices, quotations, premium calculations, policy documents, renewal reports, certificates of currency and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Draft policy wordings, endorsements and insurance manuals for review.
• Maintain up‑to‑date computer system records and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications for financial advisors.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance industry, preferably in broking.
• Qualifications in Business Management, Accounting or Economics are a plus.
