Claims Manager

About the role

Join Marsh's Claims Operations team in Suva, Fiji, as a Claims Manager handling specialist commercial claims across multiple lines of business. You will provide technical advice, support claim resolution, and act as a trusted advisor to SME and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage standard to complex commercial claims, advocating for client interests.
• Provide technical advice from first notification through final settlement.
• Advise clients and brokers on policy coverage and interpret insurer indemnity disputes.
• Respond to broker and client queries, conduct meetings, and liaise with insurers, claimants, and external providers.
• Process claims in line with company procedures and client service agreements.
• Identify referral opportunities and collaborate with the Advocacy team.
• Prepare routine and ad‑hoc reports, presenting quarterly or annual reviews.
• Maintain industry networks to stay informed of market changes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in specialty commercial lines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, insurers, and external representatives.
• Experience working in a client‑focused claims or insurance environment.
