Resort Accountant

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Resort Accountant to join its finance team on Denarau Island, Fiji. The role supports the accounting department with precise financial reporting, strategic planning and collaboration across hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports, weekly forecasts and monthly P&L statements for management decision‑making.
• Manage the hotel budget, profit & loss performance and oversee general ledger reconciliations, balance‑sheet preparation and CAPEX tracking.
• Supervise accounting team members in payroll, cashiering and accounts payable, ensuring compliance with company policy and local legislation.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments, RHG Accounting and external auditors.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in hospitality or multi‑entity environments.
• Strong analytical ability, detail‑oriented mindset and proven problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/PMS systems such as Opera and Sun Systems.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, GL reconciliations and statutory compliance.
