Graduate Core Network Engineer

About the role

Digicel Pacific is seeking a motivated Graduate Core Network Engineer to join its Technical Team at the Digicel Khalsa Office. Reporting to the Core & Billing Operations Lead, you will help design, deploy and maintain the core network infrastructure that supports the Fiji Hub markets, including Fiji, Nauru, Tonga, Vanuatu and Samoa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and deploying end‑to‑end core network architecture.
• Capture traces and logs to troubleshoot network issues and ensure service continuity.
• Optimize network performance and monitor key performance indicators.
• Document configurations, incidents and resolutions for audit and knowledge sharing.
• Produce regular reports and capacity forecasts to avoid service disruptions.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and customer support teams to resolve issues and improve network reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast‑paced changes.
