Human Resources Lead

About the role

Join Symbos as the Human Resources Lead for our Fiji operations, overseeing day‑to‑day HR support and guiding a small team of HR Officers. You will work closely with business leaders to provide practical advice on employee relations, performance, and workplace matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the HR Officers team.
• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to leaders across the business.
• Manage employee relations, performance, disciplinary, grievance and termination matters.
• Ensure consistent and compliant HR practices throughout the organisation.
• Apply Fiji employment legislation to workplace issues and identify emerging risks.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and broader HR functions.

Required profile

• Strong generalist HR experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or high‑volume environment.
• Experience coaching, supporting or leading HR professionals.
• Hands‑on experience managing employee relations and performance matters.
• Sound working knowledge of Fiji employment legislation.
• Strong judgement, confidence providing advice to leaders, and clear communication skills.
• Experience in BPO, contact centre or similar service‑based industry is highly regarded.
