Sales Executive (Hospitality)

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Executive to support the Sales & Marketing team at our hotel in Nadi, Fiji. The role combines administrative assistance, preparation of sales documentation, and direct interaction with guests and clients to promote the brand and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying.
• Prepare sales‑related documents throughout the sales cycle, including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders.
• Promote brand awareness both internally and externally and assemble promotional material packages.
• Apply sales techniques that maximise revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to the Marriott brand.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software.
• Answer guest inquiries about facilities, rates, packages, promotions and special events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone and email, responding to questions and requests.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and comply with quality‑assurance standards.
• Lift, carry or move objects weighing up to 10 lb without assistance and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
