About the role

As an Assistant Manager in Commercial Banking at ANZ, you will support Relationship Managers to drive sustainable business growth while ensuring robust risk management. You will work closely with customers to understand their operations and the local market, delivering seamless banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in providing customer solutions and insights.
• Conduct financial analysis and develop appropriate customer strategies.
• Maintain a professional market profile and stay informed on industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal functions and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Demonstrate ANZ values in interactions with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong financial literacy and analytical capability.
• Commercial and business acumen with understanding of credit and financial analysis fundamentals.
• Ability to assess and interpret financial trends.
• Experience building strong customer relationships, preferably in a delivery or experience role.
• Banking experience is advantageous; an accounting or finance degree is preferred but not mandatory.
