About the role

Join the hospitality team at a Marriott property in Nadi, Fiji as a Bar GSA. This part‑time position involves delivering high‑quality service to guests while maintaining a clean and well‑stocked bar environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the venue.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; remove soiled items from bar tops and tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, work areas, and related tools according to set guidelines.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their service needs, and provide courteous assistance.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a bar, restaurant, or food‑and‑beverage service role.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and navigate uneven surfaces.
