Events Executive – Hotel Banqueting & Guest Experience

About the role

The Events Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional event experiences at our hotel, ensuring every function reflects our commitment to outstanding service and guest satisfaction. You will manage events from the initial inquiry through to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of hotel events, internal functions, and social gatherings, creating detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) tailored to client needs.
• Work closely with the sales team to capture and maximize business leads, building strong relationships with existing and new guests.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for associates and other departments, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in event planning, hotel banqueting, meetings & events coordination, or a similar guest‑facing role.
• Eligibility to work in Fiji.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
