Manager, Research & Analysis

About the role

As a Manager, Research & Analysis at ANZ, you will enable informed decision‑making by delivering high‑quality counterparty and industry analysis. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks, mitigants and commercial drivers, supporting the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed counterparty and industry analysis reports.
• Provide clear insights on risks, mitigants and commercial drivers.
• Collaborate across business units to ensure comprehensive risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply industry knowledge to develop value‑added solutions and superior risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven banking experience with strong customer‑management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics.
• Good understanding of credit, market, operational, product and country risk dimensions.
• Strong credit analysis capability and ability to produce well‑structured risk assessments and business cases.
• Well‑developed conceptual thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven and collaborative team player.
