Pacific Program Coordinator

About the role

The Pacific Program Coordinator will support Good Return’s strategy across the Pacific, focusing on Fiji. The role involves coordinating program activities, building partnerships, and managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Fiji office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships in Fiji and the wider Pacific, including scoping visits, needs assessments, and proposal writing.
• Coordinate program and project activities in Fiji, such as training delivery, field research, monitoring and evaluation, and gender‑lens investing support.
• Support country coordinators in Tonga, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea to deliver program activities and promote Good Return’s core programmes.
• Manage the daily operations of the Good Return office in Fiji, including stakeholder engagement and office culture.

Required profile

• Fijian national or citizen preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; some spoken Fijian and Fiji Hindi advantageous.
• 3+ years experience in economic empowerment, training, or financial inclusion sectors.
• Experience with financing vehicles for MSMEs and with technology or multimedia tools for education.

Required skills

• Project development and partnership management.
• Coordination of training, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Gender‑lens investing and gender action plan implementation.
