Senior Associate – Tax (GCR) – Suva

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) tax team in Suva. The role will lead tax engagements, supervise junior staff and work closely with Tax Directors, Senior Managers and Partners to deliver high‑quality tax services for clients in Fiji.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge Corporate Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, FBT and other statutory filings with the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS).
• Ensure compliance with Fiji tax legislation, regulations and filing deadlines.
• Collect, review and analyse financial information to support tax computations and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate tax records and monitor compliance obligations.
• Liaise with clients, FRCS and internal stakeholders on tax matters.
• Support tax audits, reviews and regulatory inquiries.
• Identify tax risks and propose practical compliance solutions.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects as required.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and best‑practice implementation.
• Manage multiple client engagements while meeting strict deadlines.

Required skills
