Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join our team at Discount Flight Centre in Nadi. The role involves managing comprehensive travel arrangements for both corporate and leisure clients, delivering expert advice and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end domestic and international travel bookings, including flights, itineraries, and documentation.
• Provide expert advice on fares, destinations, and travel requirements.
• Issue tickets, handle reservations, amendments, cancellations, refunds and re‑issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, airlines, suppliers and other travel partners.
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Resolve customer enquiries and travel‑related issues professionally.
• Mentor junior consultants and support daily team operations.
• Ensure accuracy in ticketing, invoicing and compliance with IATA and company standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years proven experience as a Travel Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of international fares, ticketing and sales negotiation.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Independent work style with capability to lead and support team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS (Global Distribution System) platforms.
• Experience using airline reservation and ticketing systems.
