Account Executive – Banking

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Account Executive to generate new business and manage strategic banking clients for NCR Atleos. The role blends consultative selling of our fintech and digital‑banking solutions with ongoing account stewardship to ensure clients achieve maximum value.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and acquire new banking and financial‑services customers across the region.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals and industry events.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, cultivating long‑term relationships with key stakeholders in New Zealand.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions.
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client success.
• Monitor client usage, address issues proactively and relay feedback to product teams.
• Represent NCR Atleos at industry conferences and provide market insights to shape go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven B2B technology sales experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance and digital transformation trends.
• Track record of managing complex, enterprise‑level sales cycles and achieving targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology or related field (preferred).
• Experience selling SaaS, fintech or enterprise technology solutions.
