Receiving Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Receiving Guest Service Agent supports the Sheraton resort’s food and beverage operations by managing inventory, processing deliveries, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This full‑time position works closely with the kitchen, purchasing, and front‑of‑house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders and costs; maintain organized records and file invoices.
• Post invoices using computer programs and conduct inventory audits to determine stock levels.
• Receive, unload and process deliveries, refusing damaged or incorrect items and overseeing returns.
• Verify and track received inventory, reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports, and complete inventory reports and logs.
• Monitor PAR levels for all food items and adhere to food safety and handling policies.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working in narrow, elevated or uneven spaces and moving over slippery surfaces.
• Clear, professional communication skills for phone etiquette and written documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management and point‑of‑sale computer systems.
• Basic mathematical skills for cost calculations and invoice posting.
