Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This part‑time position supports the overall guest experience by ensuring rooms are well‑stocked, tidy, and ready for occupancy.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests, transport supply carts, and ensure rooms are vacant before entry.
• Replace guest amenities, clean linens, make beds, and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash, and ensure all appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, vacuum carpets, and perform floor care in rooms and hallways.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Maintain a professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and provide courteous guest service.

Required profile

• Fiji citizenship required.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
